PEROSH meeting Opticam GL Optic

PEROSH meeting hosted by GL Optic

During this meeting participants will carry out field measurements of spotlights and after that they will discuss the results to determine the criteria to assess photochemical and thermal hazards at high-power spotlight exposed workplaces. The main goal is to develop a simplified risk assessment for relevant workplaces in order to provide a practicable tool for worksafety officers. This will help improve the optical radiation safety for exposed workers.
PEROSH stands for „Partnership for European Research in Occupational Safety and Health” with the aim to coordinate and cooperate on European research and development in occupational safety and health. The network comprises 14 occupational safety and health institutes, in that is Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute (CIOP-PIB). It plays the key role in national affiliations to governments/authorities and health and accident insurance systems.
