Workshop „Lighting technology and measurements as required by Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/2020 (Ecodesign)”

On September 21 and October 5, we will host a training „Lighting technology and measurements as required by Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/2020 (Ecodesign) ”.  The training will be divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part will take place at our headquarters, in Puszczykowo near Poznań. For the practical part, we will invite you to the Calibration and Research Laboratory of  Optical Radiation CARLO.

The training will be conducted by:

  • Marcin Pelko, MSc,

Head of the the Calibration and Research Laboratory of  Optical Radiation CARLO, a graduate of the Poznań University of Technology in the field of lighting technology. A long-time employee of R&D departments at Signify (Philips Lighting), he has excellent experience in the design, measurement and implementation of light sources for lighting and special applications (UV).

  • Tomasz Pawlicki, MSc,

Technical Support Manager, a graduate of the Poznań University of Technology in the field of lighting technology. For many years he has been conducting trainings in the field of photometric measurements in integrating spheres and on a goniometer. He installs measurement systems and provides support to clients in Poland and abroad.

During the training, we will briefly present the basics of light technology, we will present measurements using an integrating sphere and a goniometer, we will explain what they are in practice, new requirements introduced by Ecodesign, we will invite you to our Calibration and Research Laboratory of Optical Radiation CARLO.
