GL OPTI LIGHT LED
Uniform, multichannel LED luminance reference source in a single tabletop instrument
Luminance calibration & reference source
The uniform luminance reference light source uses the JUST LED Technology to deliver high stability and a flexible solution for luminance calibration or verification. It is possible to not only exceed conventional LED sources in light quality, but is now possible to replicate a tremendous color space with the highest quality for the first time.
This GL OPTI LIGHT LED can be used as a reference luminance standard in the display and monitor calibration systems as well as a calibration reference for cameras and other optical instruments.
Unparalleled performance
This luminance reference standard uses the tried-and-tested, patented JUST LED Technology to provide high stability over a longer time, making it a flexible solution which can be easily integrated into production testers or laboratory setups for luminance calibration purposes. The system combines a set of LEDs with an integrating sphere with specially designed exit optics aperture for high uniformity and near perfect Lambertian diffusion. It features an analog control electronics system and thermal stabilization in order to achieve no-flicker and remarkable color and light output stability.
A more advanced version of the programmable LED light is GL OPTI LIGHT LED 127 CLC, which apart from the above listed features is enriched with Closed Loop Calibration, which guarantees extended stability of light emission.
Near-perfect replication of light sources
GL OPTI LIGHT luminance reference provides ideal homogeneity of the source and near-perfect replication of light sources like D50, D65, D75, A, TL 84. It features the electronic control system and thermal stabilization in order to achieve extraordinary colorimetric stabilization.
Choose your interface
The device can be controlled by a PC via a USB connection to create almost any color source. Alternatively, the settings can be adjusted with the LED control panel integrated with the device. A DLL library is available to allow easy integration with production or automated applications.
Control the properties of LEDs
JUST Normlicht’s LED technology, you can calibrate each single LED light source and store the spectral properties in the unit’s electronic controls.
GL OPTI LIGHT LED Usage
A new class of reference light
This compact uniform light source uses JUST LED Technology, providing a highly stable and flexible luminance reference standard. This GL OPTI LIGHT 127 can be used as a reference luminance standard in the display and monitor calibration systems as well as a calibration reference for cameras and other optical instruments. It is made using carefully selected LEDs with a small integrating sphere that provides ideal homogeneity of the source. Additionally, it features electronic control system and thermal stabilization in order to achieve extraordinary colorimetric stabilization.
JUST Normlicht’s LED technology has achieved the ability, for the first time, to control the properties of LEDs. To control the LED properties to our requirements we have developed a complex multilevel calibration procedure that calibrates each single LED light source and stores the spectral properties in the unit’s electronic controls. This process is unique and delivers quality at a price point that was otherwise not available.
Create any light
GL OPTI LED 127 can be controlled from a PC via USB cable or adjusted using the integrated LED control panel. The PC software allows you to set the light coordinates according to your needs. It also features several light source standards such as D50, D65, D75, A, TL84. The active multilevel calibration system is divided into the basic factory calibration and permanent online-calibration during operation without using an external metrological device.
GL OPTI LIGHT LED is effectively self-controlling its operating conditions and is adjusting the light result with a very high frequency (>100 Hz) permanently and invisible to the human eye.
