We received the “Design Plus Award powered by Light + Building” for our innovative luminance measurement system for street lighting GL Opticam 3.0 4K TEC, the world’s first fully adapted system for field measurements. The award-winning imaging luminance measurement device will be exhibited at Light + Building Autumn Edition 2022 in Frankfurt from October 2 to 6. You will be able to see it at a special exhibition in the immediate proximity of the Design Plaza in Hall 3 and on our stand H69 in hall 8.
The award ceremony will take place on October 2. In addition to the overall concept and design quality, the highly qualified jury of experts also honored the innovative content as well as the technical and ecological quality of this compact system for luminance measurement of street lighting.
Until recently, measuring luminance distribution in accordance with EN 13201: 2016 Road Lighting Standard has been a tedious, time-consuming and expensive process, requiring many people and specialist knowledge. GL OPTICAM 3.0 4K TEC offers verification of luminance distribution under real and varying weather conditions. Measurements that were previously only possible in the laboratory can now be performed in the field. It provides in seconds all the measurement data necessary to calculate the standard compliance of the luminance distribution of the selected street and area lighting. The GL OPTICAM 4K TEC system was developed in cooperation with the Poznań University of Technology and implemented under the Program of the National Center for Research and Development and is the world’s first solution fully adapted to field measurements.
Light + Building Autumn Edition 2022 will take place from October 2 to 6, 2022, at the Frankfurt Exhibition Center. The industry will show intelligent and connected solutions, trendsetting technologies, and current design trends at the leading international trade fair for lighting and building technology.
