These systems use .ldt or .ies file formats that contain photometric data about light. Moreover, on their basis, a lighting simulation of a given space is created. What if, by means of \u00a0these programs, UVC disinfection sources could be evaluated? It is now possible thanks to the use of GL measuring systems and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gloptic.you2.pl\/pl\/products\/gl-spectrosoft-light-measurement-software\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GL Spectrosoft<\/a>\u00a0software. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ea20f8c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ea20f8c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWith our professional systems, measuring light sources in the range between 200nm up to 1100 nm is fast and easy. For the UV light sources, we are able to measure Radiant Intensity Distribution which is the equivalent of Luminous Intensity Distribution in the visual range. Radiant Intensity Distribution measurement is a tool that helps to characterise the light source and to evaluate the performance of the radiation distribution from the lamp or other emitting source.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-007b5da elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"007b5da\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFor absolute measurements in this extended spectral range,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gloptic.you2.pl\/pl\/products\/gl-spectis-5-0-touch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GL Spectis 5.0<\/a>\u00a0with different optical probes is usually offered. Last year, we\u2019ve introduced a new spectroradiometer, namely, \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gloptic.you2.pl\/pl\/products\/spectis-4-0-uv-vis-nir\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GL Spectis 4.0<\/a>. It is specified to be used with a goniometer system to test the UV light sources. This combination gives\u00a0 a chance to fully characterise the Radiant Intensity Distribution beyond the visual range.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-223a4e4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"223a4e4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t3D characterisation of the light source radiometric performance could be done in the same way as dealing with photometric performance. Instead of\u00a0 luminous intensity expressed in\u00a0 candelas\u00a0 (cd), \u00a0radiant intensity distribution expressed in Watts per steradian (W\/sr)\u00a0 has to be measured. Goniometric measurements combined with appropriate radiometric\/spectroradiometric\u00a0 sensors\u00a0 allow to collect necessary reading points for measured luminaire (spatial distribution).
